A letter from FAB President Kelly Smits

Dear Parents,
Among the booster clubs at JPII is the Fine Arts Booster (FAB), a working partnership between parents, school administration, alumni and community supporters, and the fine arts faculty whose purpose is to promote and financially support the visual and performing arts programs at JPII. FAB supports the arts programs by generating revenue through membership and fund-raising. Funds are used to supplement the non-budgeted aspects of the arts programs such as projects to improve facilities and providing wish-list items and materials for all arts programs (i.e., purchasing band instruments, funding participating in music festivals and honors competitions, providing mover lights and wireless microphones for the theater, purchasing art tables, etc.).
How do I become a supporting FAB member? The annual FAB membership is $30. Among other benefits, members receive first-come, first-served preferred seating at all Fine Arts events and will be recognized as fine arts program supporters in the annual program booklet. The easiest way to become a member is to register to complete a FAB Membership Form.
2020-2021 FAB Meeting Dates. All FAB members are invited to participate in our monthly meetings. We discuss program event planning and other ways to support the fine arts department, ideas for marketing our fine arts program within the community, and how to distribute funds raised during the year. Meeting dates for the 2020-21 school year are listed on the tab above.
The FAB webpage will be updated with event dates as they are confirmed.
