Thanksgiving Break

JPII will be closed the entire week of November 23-27 for Thanksgiving.

We will use Monday and Tuesday of that week to deep clean and disinfect our school building. The extended break also allows our community to distance from one another for an extended period. We ask that you please be mindful of your activities during the break to minimize any illness spread. We've been fortunate to this point, and we ask everyone to remain cautious and continue protocols, especially as we head into colder weather and more indoor activities.

Happy Thanksgiving!

In compliance with the TSSAA and Governor Lee's directives, JPII will enforce the following protocols to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 at our home sporting events.

FOR ALL SPORTS

  • JPII offers online ticket purchasing for all Home sporting events through GoFan for the 2020-2021 school year. Fans interested in attending a JPII Home contest will be required to purchase their tickets through GoFan or present their JPII All Sports Pass.
  • There will be no option for purchasing tickets at the gate.

·       GoFan Tickets are only redeemable at the gate, do not validate your purchased ticket before presenting it to a staff member working the gate.

  • JPII is proud to offer live-streaming for all our athletic contests in our stadium and main gym.  Please visit NFHSnetwork.com for information on various packages.

·       We will conduct temperature checks for everyone entering our athletic venues, including players, coaches from teams, referees, and fan bases. Anyone with a 100.4 or higher temperature will not be admitted into the venue and should consult with their physician. Temperature checks for opposing teams will be the responsibility of the visiting school and be conducted before traveling for an away contest per TSSAA guidelines.

·       TSSAA has mandated that all member schools require that all fans wear facial coverings at all times while on-site.

  • Schools will limit capacity at all venues to promote social distancing at high school sporting events. See below for JPII's venue capacity. Based on this protocol, JPII will limit capacity and label seating at each venue to promote social distancing for our fans. Everyone is encouraged to practice safe social distancing.
  • JPII will not be offering concessions at any of our home games until further notice. We will not permit outside coolers or beverage containers within the venue.
  • Our PA announcer will make periodic announcements reminding fans to wear their facial covers and practice social distancing.
  • We will have staff on hand to do additional cleaning of hard surfaces in our bathroom facilities.
